Once enabled, hit the Windows key + G key to call up the Game bar. First, you'll need to enable the Game bar from the settings page by making sure you've toggled on Record game clips, screenshots and broadcasts using Game bar. You can use the Game bar to snap a screenshot, whether you're in the middle of playing a game or not.

It will then be saved to the Pictures > Screenshots folder. You can press Fn + Windows logo key + Space Bar to take a screenshot. If your computer doesn't have the PrtScn key, no worries, Microsoft has another keyboard shortcut for you. You'll need to open the shot in an image editor to save it. This will snap your currently active window and copy the screenshot to the clipboard.

To take a quick screenshot of the active window, use the keyboard shortcut Alt + PrtScn. Your screen will briefly go dim to indicate you've just taken a screenshot, and the screenshot will be saved to the Pictures > Screenshots folder. The users can also use a pen and highlighter with basic notations and add text on the desktop.To capture your entire screen and automatically save the screenshot, tap the Windows key + Print Screen key. Windows' new feature allows users to choose between free-form selection, darken the screen, and snip the window as the rectangular snip. The features will offer window selection and controls for free-form selection on the new snip button. In the new tool, the mode button has drop-down toggles and replaced the snip button with a plus sign. The functionality and old design of the Snipping Tool will be replaced with Snip & Sketch features and will get bigger changes. They are merging Snip & Sketch and Snipping Tool to form the new application that will be known as Snipping Tool. Windows is planning to make several minor changes to the Snipping Tool.

This will offer an enhanced user experience and the features will be out by the start of next month. Adding to this, the giant is also working on a new Snipping Tool for the testers and operating systems in the Windows Insider program. With the upcoming Windows 11, the tech giant, Microsoft is working on several applications including inbox apps like Microsoft Photos and Paint.
